Leaking Tap Repair Eastern Suburbs

What to do if you have a leaking tap?

Drip, drip, drip. A leaky tap can be enough to drive you nuts. But that’s the least of your problems, as the wasted water can cost you a lot of money over time. Even more than in the past these days, with water usage prices continuing to rise.

As we have seen time and time again this small problem – a minor annoyance maybe – can become a big issue faster than people think. Small leaks become big leaks. Big leaks lead to burst pipes. Burst pipes flood your property. Or lead to unhealthy for you and your family moulds and mildews.

All this means that ignoring a leaky tap is not a wise move at all. Nor is failing to check for them. Not every water leak is noisy or even obvious. Leaks in pipes under the sinks, in the laundry room or even in the loft can go unnoticed for a long time; that is until they cause a problem. That’s why it’s always a good idea to check on ‘hidden’ taps and pipes in bathrooms, kitchens and laundry rooms once in a while to make sure everything is still OK.

As experienced Eastern Suburbs plumbers we can tackle any leaky tap or pipe, and fix – or replace – it quickly and efficiently, which in the long run will not only mean a better night’s sleep for you – no more drip, drip, drip –but also no more wasted water and no more flood or health risks!

Outdoor Leaking Tap Eastern Suburbs

When was the last time you checked your outdoor taps for leaks? People often forget that those can leak too. And a leaky outdoor tap can cause just as many costly problems as one that leaks indoors, and sometimes even more!

An outdoor tap that leaks not only wastes money and oversoaks the lawn you are trying so hard to cultivate but can also lead to water seeping into the foundations of your home, potentially leading to catastrophic damage.

We admit, these leaks are harder to find. As these taps are often hidden in lawns and flower beds it can be a lot harder to notice when they are leaking. Often the first sign is a rising water bill with no apparent leaks indoors. Older outdoor tap systems tend to be generally very inefficient compared to their newer counterparts, and if they leak…then you may end up with a very expensive problem on your hands.

Think you might have a leaky tap problem, either indoors or out? Give us a call. We have the knowledge and experience to track down and fix pesky leaks in taps and pipes and, if needed, to replace older models for something new, efficient and economical.
